Timothy Towner

Timothy ‘Tim’ W. Towner, aged 75, passed away peacefully June 30, 2026 at his home in Antioch, TN.

Tim was the youngest of five children born from the union of John G. and Elnora N. Towner. Tim spent his childhood in southeast Wichita. He attended Mead Jr. High, Southeast High School, and graduated from Pittsburg State University. He was employed at Boeing Wichita, Avco, and Textron of Nashville, Tennessee. He began his real estate appraisal company in the mid 90’s, which he later continued to work as a consultant. 

Tim was the most kind, unselfish, and easy going person with a great laugh. He loved watching all sports, especially the ‘Titans’. Tim was a wonderful Uncle who left a legacy of treasured memories with all of his family.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents; John and Elnora Towner, brothers; John and Tom Towner, and niece; Tina Towner. Tim is survived by two siblings; Sarajane (Gael) McCully and Jeff (Terry) Towner, sister-in-law Lori Towner. Tim is also survived by nine nephews; Scott, Chris, Darin, Bryan, Mark, Eric, Greg, Shad, Ben and three nieces; Suzanne, Robin, and Jenny and 16 great nieces and nephews. Friend, Sherrie Forbes.
