Michele Mathers Buck

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claire Michele Mathers Buck, who departed this life at the age of 74. Michele was born in Montgomery, Al. She was the beloved child of Claire Joyce (nee Lasseter) and James Eben Mathers.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years - Clifton Buck, her daughter – Catherine Buck Correll, her son-in-law – Jon Correll, her granddaughter – Sophia, her grandson- Solomon, her brother Richard L. Mathers (partner Pam Kirk) and her nephew Hayes Mathers.

Michele will be remembered for her warm, vibrant personality, her love of her family, her love of her church, and her devotion to many charitable organizations. She was always involved in activities for the good of the community.

A small private family memorial will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Church of Christ Scientist, Nashville, TN, or the charity of your choosing.

Michele will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
