Mary Loretta Brown of Franklin, Tennessee

August 30, 1948 - April 28, 2023

Mary Loretta Brown, age 74, born on August 30, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2023 after a 2 year battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Har-Brack High School in Natrona Heights, PA and of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alan, and four children, BethAnn (Nick), David (Ashley), Jonathan, and Lauren (Austin). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren Logan, Hannah, Samantha, Jack, Madeline, Eloise, Harper, Amelia, Clara and Eliza.

Mary spent her life caring and serving those in need. She was a speech and language pathologist, interpreter for the deaf, Early Childhood Interventionist for children with special needs, and volunteered at the Nashville Women’s Rescue Mission.

She was a woman of great faith. She was ordained as a Deacon in the Anglican Church in 2016. She took joy in serving the church in any way that she could. She was a mentor and friend to many.

Memorial Services will be held at Crievewood United Methodist Church, 451 Hogan Rd., Nashville, TN on Saturday, May 6 ^th. Visitation will begin at 12 PM with a service to follow at 2 PM.
