On August 8, 2025, the Lord called Mariann home. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, holding her hand until the end.
Born on August 4, 1935, in Havertown, PA, to Samuel and Catherine Mink, Mariann was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Sam II. A graduate of Villa Maria Academy and Villanova University, she dedicated over 50 years to the healthcare profession as a Registered Nurse. Her distinguished career included roles with Herman Miller and the NIH, as well as over 35 years of service with the federal government in the Department of Health & Human Services.
Mariann was an avid athlete in her youth, enjoying basketball, tennis, and horseback riding. She was known for her adventurous spirit, traveling the world and launching a successful career in Washington, D.C. She remained lifelong friends with her cherished group, "The Martians," whom she met during her high school and college years.
Above all, Mariann was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her world, and her grandchildren were the lights of her life. She is survived by her son, Paul (Lauren), and her two grandchildren, Sam and Caelyn.
