John Norton DeVoe

November 9, 1938 - January 23, 2018

John Norton DeVoe passed away after a long struggle with leukemia on Tuesday, January 23, 2018; he was 79.
John was born in Donelson, TN on November 9, 1938 and served in the United States Army from 1959-1962. He married his high school sweetheart, Betty June Andrews, on July 23, 1960.
John's family and his faith in the Lord were the centers of his life; his charity, generosity and kindness were expressions of his love to those around him.
John is survived by his three children; John Andrew DeVoe (Susan), Mary Elizabeth Clark (Rick) and Thomas Matthew DeVoe (Ellen); 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services will be held in celebration of his life on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Church of the Redeemer; 920 Caldwell Lane, Nashville, TN 37204. Visitation will begin at 9:00am and a memorial service will follow at 10:00am.
