James Hugh Hutcheson

February 23, 1947 - May 15, 2018

James H. Hutcheson, 71, peacefully passed away, Tuesday, May 15th, 2018, in Nashville, TN, after a valiant battle with leukemia. Jim was born in Atlanta, GA on February 23, 1947 to Max and Ruth Hutcheson (both deceased). He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Glenda Young Hutcheson of Portland, TN, his children Jennifer Mangrum (Daniel), Jessica Orozco (Matt), and James Hutcheson III (Anita), and his nine beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Alice Berkhan, and is also survived by his twin sister Carol Dunphy, and sister Sara Hannum.
The family wishes to thank God's ministering angels: Dr. Will Donnellan, Tennessee Oncology, Sarah Cannon Cancer Center 3 North, Alive Hospice Nashville, and the Otter Creek Church family.
The Memorial Service will be held at the Otter Creek Church on Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at 7 p.m. with visitation two hours prior.
