Emily Hudgens Coleman

December 30, 1937 - February 11, 2017

Emily H. Coleman died Feruary 11, 2017, after a courageous battle with ALS. She was a graduate of Vanderbilt University, BE '59, Watkins Institute and UT-Nashville. She worked in the rocket test facility at AEDC for ARO. Upon moving to Nashville, she got her accounting degree and retired as a tax accountant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lambeth and Sue Hudgens, and is survived by her husband, Robert L. Coleman; daughters Carol Whitmer (Bob) and Lynne Coleman; grandchildren, Caitlin Gore and Luke Boyer and sister, Nancy May (Jeff). Per her wishes, a private memorial gathering will be held at a future date.
