January 22, 1947 to September 24, 2019. Dorothy was born to Herbert and Nola Shadowens, Sr.  She was a very caring and loving person.  She loved everyone. She was Granny Dot to everyone. She was a big fan of Elvis Presley.  Dorothy is preceded in death by her son Charlie Goode; her kids' father, David Goode;  her parents,  Herbert and Nola Shadowens Sr.; five brothers,  Herbert (Bubba) Shadowens, Jr., Jimmy Shadowens, Donald Shadowens, Sr.,  Charles Shadowens and Johnny Shadowens. She is survived by her children, Sandra Kephart, Catherine Goode, Danny Goode ( Sherry); her precious dog,Toby;  two brothers, Jackie and Bill Shadowens;  six sisters, Linda Pruett, Martha Goss, Melissa Smith, Betty McGowan, Thelma Roberson and Louise Nicholson; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren
