Debbie Louise Johnson

Debbie Louise Johnson, age 76, and a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 15, 2026, in her home.

Born on July 28, 1949, Debbie was the daughter of the late William Jones Sr and the late Wilma Jones. Debbie shared a devoted marriage of 58 years with her high school sweetheart, husband James C. Johnson who passed December 2024.

Debbie loved to spend time gardening, crocheting, sewing and woodworking, with a fondness for crafting birdhouses. She had a love of various art forms which she collected, displayed and took great care of. Her children remember her as creative, generous, devoted and resolute.

She was the beloved mother of daughter Angela Johnson, son James C. (Sharon) Johnson, Jr and daughter Elizabeth Johnson; proud grandmother to Joshua (Breanna) Johnson, Shelby Grau, Wesley (McKenzie) Johnson, Andy Harkins, Laci Johnson, and Cali Johnson; great grandchildren, Charlotte Johnson, Margaret Johnson, Kelsey Johnson, Zelda Johnson, Harper Lily Johnson and Salem Oswalt
