Anna Kay Hendricks

August 20, 1946 - July 28, 2024

Anna Kay Hendricks, 77, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by her family at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, Anna was born on August 20, 1946. In the early 1980s, she founded a successful beauty shop and, together with her husband, went on to establish several other businesses, all aimed at providing a better life for her family. Anna was known for her tireless work ethic, often working from morning until night, and for her selfless nature, always putting others before herself.  Anna loved and deeply cared for every member of her immediate family as well as her extended family. Anna loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Brentwood Hills Church of Christ.

Anna leaves behind her loving husband of 38 years, Timothy Alan Hendricks; daughter, Michelle (Paul) Hunter; son, Todd (Amy) Smith; sisters, Roberta (Steve) Tidwell and Vickie Jackson; grandchildren, Savannah Smith, Mackenzie (Grayson) Rathburn, Madison (Joshua) Murphy, Colin Smith, and Lily Grace Smith; and great-grandchildren, Tucker Murphy, Tatum Murphy, and Harlow Rathburn. She is preceded in death by her grandson Logan Smith and her parents, Robert and Juanita Jackson.

A private celebration of life will be held for the immediate family.
